As a Global Trade & Foreign Exchange Operations Team Lead, you’ll play a critical role in driving the success of international banking transactions while leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role supporting Foreign Exchange (FX) Settlements and Global Trade & Standby Services (GTSS)—helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and seamless execution across complex financial transactions that move across borders every day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior team lead or leadership experience
  • Experience with wire transfers and SWIFT formatting
  • Exposure to Foreign Exchange (FX) operations, settlements, or international payments
  • Familiarity with SQL or data tools
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Excellent client service and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support day-to-day processing of FX and trade transactions across the full lifecycle (payments, settlements, investigations, and trade services)
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to a team of operations professionals; serve as a go-to escalation point for complex issues
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with international banking regulations, policies, and service level expectations
  • Facilitate coordination across internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of transaction processing and disbursements
  • Review, execute, and reconcile transactions and documentation to maintain operational integrity
  • Drive process improvements, support project initiatives, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Partner with leadership and peers to align on priorities and maintain consistent service delivery
