About The Position

The Global Technician Intern supports the Controls Coordinator and Process Engineers in implementing process improvements involving mechanical and electrical systems, programming, and vision systems. The role also performs troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and related systems. This position does not supervise associates.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Currently pursuing an associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge and skills in electrical work, computers, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controls Coordinator and Process Engineers in implementing process improvements involving mechanical and electrical systems, programming, and vision systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, robotics, pneumatics, electric motors, variable speed drives, and servo systems.
• Perform assigned preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and subsystems.
• Maintain and repair robotics.
