About The Position

The Spectacles team is pushing the boundaries of technology to bring people closer together in the real world. This role supports Specs’ product lines for in-house silicon design teams and back-end packaging for micro displays. The supply chain for internal silicon design and development is critical to product line success. The Global Supply Manager will collaborate closely with operations, supplier quality, and Snap’s product and design teams. This role involves owning commercial relationships with partners, influencing commodity strategy, and setting up/expanding relationships with end-to-end semiconductor suppliers. GSMs at Snap are business owners responsible for commodity strategy, supplier selection, cost negotiations, supply continuity, and risk mitigation, while also supporting project needs and timelines. The goal is to establish a robust supply chain for scaling to volume production, driving design-to-cost, and partnering with the legal team for contracts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, or commodity management associated with Semiconductor Foundry, Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, and OSATs
  • Ability to work and influence across teams and manage timelines
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (preferred) or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or manufacturing operations
  • Must travel 20% of the time internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Process integration and foundry management experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in the following a plus; batteries, PCB, Flexible PCB

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationships with our partners
  • Influence commodity strategy and direction with internal stakeholders like product and design teams
  • Setup and expand relationship with end-to-end semiconductor suppliers including, IP providers, foundry, bumping, die preparation, wafer sort, packaging, and testing vendors and equipment partners
  • Establish a robust supply chain to allow us to scale to volume production
  • Use your knowledge of the semiconductor industry to help drive Snap’s long term silicon and assembly strategies
  • Drive design to cost, working with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the design to cost philosophy
  • Partner with Snap legal team to implement contracts for services and material where necessary to support business needs
