About The Position

The Global Supplier Quality Engineer I leads supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The role involves documenting and communicating detailed audit reports on supplier systems, processes, and findings, following up on corrective actions, and ensuring relevant documents are updated. The engineer analyzes supplier performance, manages corrective actions, and collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to strengthen quality systems and support business goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.
ASQ technical certification as a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) required or to be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience with supplier audits and corrective actions, preferably in a GMP environment.
Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Write and communicate detailed audit reports describing suppliers' systems, processes, and specific findings.
Follow up with suppliers regarding corrective actions for findings and ensure documents are updated appropriately.
Analyze supplier performance and manage corrective actions to drive quality improvements.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to strengthen quality systems and support business goals.
