About The Position

The Supplier Quality Engineer I provides daily tactical support for supplier product conformance to specified requirements through supplier verification efforts. The role works to contain major non-conformances while minimizing impact to production, participates in supplier assessment and approval, and leads qualification of materials, components, processes, and assemblies through the CPPAS process to ensure supplier capability. It also reviews and verifies corrective actions for effectiveness and participates in development activities to improve products and processes and prevent nonconforming product. The position requires 10–20% travel.

Requirements

Four-year college degree, or a two-year college degree with a minimum of five years of experience, or twelve years of experience, or ASQ (or equivalent) Certified Quality Engineer/Certified Quality Auditor certification with three years of relevant experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Ability to use quality inspection tools and techniques.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
Ability to work with teams.
Minimum of 10–20% travel.

Responsibilities
