Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This involves rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power to designing, building, and operating data centers. The Supply Chain Team is central to this mission, responsible for supplying tens of gigawatts of compute, qualifying and dual-sourcing critical equipment, and ensuring supply chain efficiency is a key differentiator. They aim to build the most accurate supply chain prediction modeling using AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruptions, creating a structural edge for the company. This role will own sourcing for mechanical categories crucial to manufacturing, including steel, fabrications, cooling components, and mechanical assemblies. The goal is to secure supply and lead times against the build plan, ensure capacity commitments can withstand demand spikes, and qualify suppliers technically with engineering through first articles, PPAP-style approvals, and audits. The role also involves negotiating multi-year agreements to maintain price and priority as volumes grow significantly.
