About The Position

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Global Sourcing Associate Manager to support sourcing operations, ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers to stores. This role involves managing purchase orders, resolving issues with cross-functional partners, and utilizing data for decision-making to ensure product availability. The Associate Manager will analyze performance metrics, collaborate with various teams including merchants, product development, logistics, and compliance, and contribute to the overall sourcing strategy while growing technical understanding of product categories.

Requirements

3+ years of related work experience
2+ years in sourcing, product development, buying, planning, or production management
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze problems and make effective business decisions
Knowledge of import logistics, customs, and factory compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-changing environment
