About The Position

You will lead Zoom's global physical security and safety program. You'll shape strategy across 30+ locations, partnering with cross-functional teams. You will build a culture of safety that protects people and operations worldwide. Our team safeguards Zoom's people, facilities, and assets globally. We collaborate across Real Estate, Facilities, and Legal to embed security into everything we do. We exist to ensure every Zoomie feels safe.

Requirements

• Have 10+ years of experience in corporate physical security, including 5+ years leading global, multi-site security operations
• Demonstrate experience developing and implementing physical security programs for technology companies with distributed facilities
• Apply working knowledge of security technologies such as access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and security operations centers
• Lead crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning efforts across multiple geographies
• Build and develop security teams across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership and external agencies

Nice To Haves

• Hold professional security certifications such as CPP or PSP, or equivalent practical experience
• Possess a degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Leading the global physical security program — including access control, visitor management, badging, security systems, and guard operations across all Zoom locations.
• Directing environmental health and safety functions, encompassing emergency response, business continuity, and crisis management in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and risk-mitigation strategies that align with organizational growth and facility design
• Managing vendor relationships, law enforcement partnerships, and budget allocation to ensure cost-effective, high-impact security operations
• Building and mentoring a geographically distributed security team while driving security awareness training and workplace violence prevention initiatives
