About The Position

The Global Security & Resilience Co-Op combines hands-on security operations with individualized professional development. The role supports Global Security & Resilience objectives through administrative support, technical systems work, and cross-functional coordination, while providing practical experience aligned with the student’s professional goals. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Head of Global Security & Resilience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship from PTC.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Director, Head of Global Security, across global security strategic focus areas, including Physical & Technical Security, Travel Risk Management, and Crisis Response & Resiliency.
• Perform security office administrative functions and daily operations within enterprise video and access control systems, including employee badging/ID, occupancy reporting, and video review at the PTC Boston headquarters.
• Assist with the rollout of the PTC Crisis Management Platform.
• Monitor regional global security mailboxes and the service ticket system for employee assistance requests.
• Monitor the PTC Crisis Platform for potential threats to PTC employees or business and escalate as needed.
• Work with PTC Office Managers to revise and edit ERT plans and records, and support training as needed.
• Develop and track regional global security metrics as established by Global Security Leadership.
