About The Position

The Global Project Manager is accountable for leading and coordinating multiple large-scale initiatives across the Global Supply organization. This role involves end-to-end management of project resources, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to defined milestones and strategic objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks, managing project issues, and overseeing change requests to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget project delivery. Operating with the authority to manage projects on a day-to-day basis, the Project Manager ensures that all required deliverables meet the agreed standards of quality, are delivered within the specified constraints, and align with the expected business outcomes. The role also plays a key part in driving process improvement initiatives, fostering the global exchange of best practices to enhance project performance and operational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with Sales teams and alignment across multiple business units within WMFTS, to ensure initiatives are strategically integrated across commercial and operational functions. Regular updates and progress reports are provided to senior leadership, offering clear visibility into project status, risks, and strategic alignment across the global organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum HNC in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, including planning, tracking, and delivering projects within time, scope, and budget constraints.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or operational excellence settings.
  • Strong capability in project management tools, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience reporting to and communicating with senior leadership and project sponsors.
  • A results-driven mindset, with the ability to make data-informed decisions, navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple business units and support integration with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Proven ability to influence, lead, and motivate stakeholders at all levels, fostering alignment and accountability across functions.

Nice To Haves

  • A Project Management Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of complex, large-scale initiatives across multiple departments and global business units within the WMFTS.
  • Provide full lifecycle project leadership, from initiation through planning, execution, deployment, and closure.
  • Ensure alignment of programs and projects to strategic business objectives, including global operational and commercial priorities.
  • Build and motivate cross-functional, cross-regional project teams; provide on-site leadership when necessary.
  • Manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business functions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, and change controls.
  • Oversee vendor engagement, stakeholder communication, and reporting to executive audiences.
  • Deliver executive-level communications, status updates, and strategic insights across all levels of the business.
  • Develop and deliver project reports, presentations, proposals, and performance analyses to sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and success criteria to track delivery and value realization.
  • Monitor and control outcomes to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and manage critical path activities.
  • Establish and mature project management capabilities across the organization, including practices, templates, tools, and governance structures.
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and participate in internal quality issue resolution.
  • Stay current on emerging project management methodologies, technologies, and industry best practices.
