About The Position

The Global Programs Servicing Leader will be responsible for supporting Global Programs within producing Underwriting Departments. This role involves close collaboration with Underwriters, Associate Underwriters, and global servicing offices to evaluate business needs, confirm operational requirements, and ensure foreign policies are issued in alignment with underwriting intent and Home Office service standards. The position is positioned on the front end of the insurance underwriting lifecycle to support marketing opportunities by communicating the capabilities of HDI’s global network in close collaboration with Underwriters. The primary involvement begins at binding, at which point initiating and managing communication with global network and servicing offices starts with preparing and uploading RoCs and entering local policy and premium information into the Global Network Portal. This work is prioritized based on policy inception dates and compliance with Home Office service standards. The role also involves supporting product-related business initiatives and contributing to the development of new concepts as the department continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 5 years providing administrative support for servicing global portfolio accounts on behalf of Global Commercial insurance carrier.
  • Of experience required, must have: (i) 3 years of each of the following: (a) preparing & presenting, orally & in writing, product value presentations to potential customers, (b) planning & executing marketing strategies to promoting global insurance portfolio services at client & broker meetings & conferences, & (c) applying compliance & international standards to underwritten Global Programs; (ii) 2 years using Microsoft products; & (iii) 1 year of each of the following: (a) supporting captive insurance programs, with an understanding of their operation, including their role in risk retention and cost management within global programs, & (b) reading & navigating the complexities of reinsurance contracts, including proportional & non-proportional agreements to ensure alignment with program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Review & monitor upcoming renewals for our CMP (Controlled Master Program) locals (foreign policies).
  • Renew Master programs in Network Portal or create new programs for new business.
  • Fill out RoC’s (request of coverage) per the Master binder from Underwriting, upload into Network Portal along with premium bookings & GDV’s (German Insurance Association).
  • Monitor producing office completion dates to meet our global service standards.
  • Manage a Global Services Associate.
  • Create new programs in the Network Portal for new customers by filling out the initial policy details, requesting a new system Client ID, & then filling out the program, the master, & each local policy including insurance premium booking.
  • Ensure compliance with foreign government regulations when creating the client, program, & master at a global policy level, the local policy & premium booking are specific to each foreign country.
  • Work with underwriting teams to plan & support marketing opportunities.
  • Prepare & upload RoCs & enter local policy & premium info into the Global Network Portal.
  • Coordinate with Underwriting & team members to ensure post binding info is executed accurately & policies are properly booked into internal systems with a strong focus on data quality & consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriters, Assoc. Underwriters, & global servicing offices to evaluate business needs, confirm operational requirements, & ensure foreign policies are issued in alignment with underwriting intent & Home Office service standards.
  • Set priorities based on policy inception dates & established service level expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts as the department continues to grow.
  • Support product related business initiatives.
