About The Position

The Global Program Manager for Acendas Travel is someone who enjoys working closely with clients, managing complex global travel programs, and thinking strategically about how to deliver value. In this role, the Global Program Manager oversees a portfolio of global accounts totaling $30–40 million in annual air spend and serve as the primary point of contact for those clients. The role partners with teams across regions to make sure travel programs are running smoothly, meeting client expectations, and continuing to grow. This is a great role for someone who’s comfortable managing large global accounts, building long-term relationships, and taking a proactive approach to program management. This role is the central connection between our global clients and Acendas, coordinating communication and ensuring alignment across regions. Working closely with Regional and Local Program Managers to help develop and support regional plans that align with each client’s global strategy. Client satisfaction and retention are at the heart of this role with key focus on delivering outstanding service, identifying opportunities to expand services, and helping clients get the most out of our technology and solutions. The Global Program Manager builds and leads global travel cost management plans, track results, and adjust strategies as needed. This includes leading regular business reviews, supporting new account implementations, and occasionally participating in sales presentations or vendor bid processes. Internally, collaborating with teams to share updates, insights, and risks related to your accounts, helping ensure a consistent and unified client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate travel and/or sales.
  • Experience in program management supporting global clients.
  • Comfort analyzing data, reviewing reports, spotting trends, and identifying cost-savings or growth opportunities.
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, contract management, and travel industry technology.
  • Ability to be adaptable, collaborative, and maintain a calm, professional approach.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and travel technology tools.
  • Pride in delivering excellent client service.
