About The Position

As the Global Product Manager, Industrial Coatings, you will lead the definition, development, and launch of digital, color, and equipment solutions. These solutions will create new revenue streams by transforming the customer digital experience for our customers globally. You will report to the Head of Strategic Marketing, Industrial Coatings. PPG’s work arrangement is a Flexible Friday model designed to accelerate collaboration and career development. Teams work together on-site Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, digital, business management, marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a large global industrial B2B organization and experience delivering digital solutions or transformation products.
  • Experience working globally with teams and customers, understanding cultural nuances to build trust and relationship with people.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with a focus on prioritizing features and technologies that guide outcomes.
  • Able to travel up to 20%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of global digital, color, and equipment solutions in collaboration with global strategic market managers and regional products managers to solve customer pain points
  • Assess digital, color and equipment capability across regions and platforms
  • Develop digital, color, and equipment product and service roadmaps in target market segments to support our growth strategies
  • Evaluate market trends and perform competitive intelligence and benchmarking regarding digital customer experience, including Voice of Customer.
  • Design user-centric features and experiences using personas and journey mapping techniques.
  • Develop value propositions and marketing messaging for new solutions from value creation to value capture, from pain to strategy
  • Support pricing, bundles, subscription definitions
  • Collaborate with internal team members, using assigned resources for product/solution development activities
  • Partner with leaders and teams to align value propositions and modernize go-to-market strategies with these solutions
  • Align new product launch process across regions to ensure excellent executions and successful rollout
  • Help develop training on the solutions and their value propositions for our sales and service teams
  • Foster collaboration across software development, program management, and product management teams to ensure delivery of roadmap milestones.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with software vendors and equipment partners to deliver a seamless digital customer experience.
