This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As the Global Product International Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Owning the product lifecycle across multiple geographies-launch, growth, maturity, renovation, and phase-out-ensuring alignment with market requirements, retailer calendars, regulatory needs, and global pack-price architecture. Leading international product roadmap execution by partnering with global and regional R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver innovations on time, on cost, and on quality. Identifying and quantifying global-to-local replication opportunities, including formula, pack, and design harmonization. Build and maintain a common global product catalogue with clear guidance on which SKUs scale, adapt, or remain market‑specific. Optimizing international portfolio performance through pricing, SKU mix, margin management, and trade spend effectiveness, leveraging syndicated data, local POS analytics, and global shopper insights. Building business cases and market-entry forecasts using elasticity analysis, price/mix modeling, and demand planning tools, informing investment prioritization across regions. Translating global and local customer, consumer, and market insights into actionable product decisions-refining packaging, claims, positioning, and activation for varied regional needs. Monitoring international product performance across financial, operational, and in‑market KPIs; lead corrective actions across markets to manage risks, seize opportunities, and maintain momentum. Partnering with regional teams to ensure consistent go-to-market activation, retailer engagement, and e-commerce standards, while adjusting for regional shopper behaviors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years’ experience in marketing management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Seven (7) years of project management and/or cross-functional team leadership

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or graduate degree from an accredited university, with focus on marketing, strategy, business development, and/or innovation
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Ability to apply deep market and customer/consumer insight by leveraging syndicated and local data, shopper panels, and digital shelf metrics to guide decisions.
  • Previous experience working on consumer products portfolios, managing the global‑to-local product lifecycle and innovation or emerging technologies/platforms
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager engaging with cross‑functional leadership.
  • Previous experience leading initiatives across multiple regions, adapting global strategies to diverse market, regulatory, and customer environments.
