About The Position

As a Global Procurement Systems Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the systems and tools that underpin WSP’s global procurement operations. Reporting to the Director, Global Procurement Process and Systems, this role works with limited supervision on complex assignments of significant scope, partnering closely with IT and global procurement teams to troubleshoot issues, deploy new solutions, and align technology initiatives with WSP’s strategic procurement objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in procurement, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with process mapping and documentation is an asset.
  • Experience working in a consulting engineering or construction environment is an asset.
  • Experience working with procurement functions is an asset.
  • Bilingual French and English (written and verbal) communication skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert for all procurement technology systems, including ERP procurement modules, e-sourcing platforms, and spend analytics tools, ensuring systems are properly configured and effectively used by end users.
  • Provide technical support to global procurement users by troubleshooting system-related issues in collaboration with WSP Horizon teams, supporting bug logging, testing fixes, and communicating resolutions or interim workarounds.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and optimization of new procurement tools and system upgrades by gathering business requirements, assisting with solution evaluation, and participating in testing and roll-out activities.
  • Deliver ongoing user support and training to global procurement team members, including conducting training sessions or clinics to improve system proficiency and adoption of new features and best practices.
  • Identify and propose opportunities to enhance system functionality or deploy new technologies that improve procurement effectiveness.
  • Assist with system configuration changes, coordinate development work with IT partners, and manage change communications and user support during system transitions.
