TechnoServe believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better life. For over 50 years, we have given smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs the skills, connections, and confidence to lift themselves out of poverty. We leverage the power of markets and the private sector to create sustainable economic growth to benefit people and the planet. Our unique mix of business solutions, deep knowledge of local contexts, and data-driven insights is helping to fight poverty across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. TechnoServe staff are local–95% are from the countries in which they work. We put a high premium on collaboration and entrepreneurship. We hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards of integrity and transparency. And we focus on delivering lasting impact for our mission. The Global Practice for Women & Youth leads TechnoServe’s efforts to achieve parity in the share of women and men who financially benefit from our programs and enable them to translate their economic participation into positive outcomes for them, their families, and communities. We contribute to the design and implementation of programs that enable women and men of all ages to build regenerative farms and businesses, delivering technical assistance in the form of research, tools, advice, and training to support the objectives of TechnoServe’s Economic Opportunity for All Policy. The Global Practice for Women and Youth is seeking a part-time (up 32 hours week) intern to support a refresh of how-to guides and training resources, creation of 1-2 learning products, and consolidation of our youth economic empowerment resources. The intern will also contribute to the preparation and delivery of internal learning webinars.
