Verifone is seeking a Global Payroll Director to own end-to-end payroll processing across 41 countries, covering approximately 3,500 employees. This role involves managing a multi-platform environment including ADP GlobalView, ADP Streamline, Deel, and standalone country solutions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness. The Director will be responsible for developing and enforcing payroll controls, reconciliation processes, and exception-handling procedures. Vendor management is crucial, involving ownership of vendor performance, contractual obligations, SLA oversight, and contract negotiations. Financial integrity is paramount, requiring partnership with Finance for accurate GL mapping, reconciliation, and period-end close processes, as well as providing payroll cost reporting. The role includes leading, developing, and holding accountable the global payroll team, building team capability, managing performance proactively, and partnering with Talent Acquisition for hiring and team development.
