About The Position

The Global Operations Senior Analyst supports enterprise-wide finance initiatives by coordinating cross-functional activities, driving data driven insights, and enabling effective financial governance across the organization. The role partners with Corporate Finance, segment leadership, and cross-functional teams to support strategic programs such as Project Perano and global portfolio management, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, financial targets, and long-term value creation. The position plays a key role in improving financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting decision-making through accurate analysis and collaboration across global stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
  • Fixed assets and capital expenditure experience
  • Experience with ERP / EPM systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with emphasis in Excel
  • High attention to detail with strong process and controls mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating finance requirements to system and business users
  • Advanced financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysis skills

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, planning, and forecasting
  • Oracle-based ERP experience
  • Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise financial systems, planning and forecasting tools, or ERP/EPM implementations
  • Progressive experience in FP&A, capital allocation, or corporate finance roles supporting large, geographically diverse organizations.
  • Strong understanding of support cost expense, fixed asset accounting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a controlled financial environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing, coordinating, and leading through complexity without direct authority, with clear and effective communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate finance and business requirements into standardized processes, reporting, and system functionality across multiple stakeholders and regions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze functional cost trends vs. budget and forecast, identifying key variances and underlying drivers.
  • Partner with functional leaders to improve cost transparency, allocation methodologies, and accountability.
  • Deliver insights and reporting to support cost optimization and alignment with corporate financial targets.
  • Coordinate global capital planning cycle, including annual budget, forecasts, and periodic reviews at AFE and project level.
  • Monitor alignment between approved AFE limits and forecasted capital spend, flagging variances and potential overruns for review.
  • Support monthly and quarterly capital reviews, including actuals vs. forecast analysis and variance explanations.
  • Act as a central reviewer for capital inputs across geozones, product lines, and non-JDE entities.
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate Finance, Function Controllers, Geozone Finance Leaders, Product Line Asset Managers, and system teams.
  • Help design and communicate changes to processes, roles, and responsibilities during system rollouts and operating model changes.
  • Support identification and coordination of training participants, testers, and regional designees for new processes.
  • Maintain effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and external, where appropriate.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert for Oracle implementation, including design reviews, testing, and improvements.
  • Participate in testing of reports, dashboards, routing approval steps, and accounting financial processes.
  • Coordinate with implementation partners (e.g., PwC) to log issues, validate fixes, and confirm business requirements.
  • Support development and validation of dashboards, project financial reports, and variance analysis.
