About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the Global Operations team under the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization for a two-year rotational development program starting in 2027. The Global Operations Early Talent program encompasses a variety of unique pathways to learn and gain meaningful work experience while growing your expertise. At Wells Fargo, we are committed to a strong business infrastructure to manage and transform the business and provide a valuable client experience. Global Operations in the Chief Operating Office is responsible for building a more unified and integrated approach to Wells Fargo’s business operations functions. The Global Operations Early Talent Program offers exposure across multiple functions and within multiple teams, with work related to business operations, strategy, execution and transformation initiatives. The two-year analyst program is a professional development opportunity that provides participants with a rotational experience to learn about and understand Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. The experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, and informative learning sessions with key leaders. It is designed to provide undergraduate students with an experiential overview of the applicable team within Global Operations and how they support developing, executing and supporting a streamlined approach to each of their individual businesses and the enterprise. The program incorporates real-world scenarios and experiences to help prepare you for a rewarding career at Wells Fargo. The competitive full-time development program targets exceptional graduating seniors and is a pipeline program where successful analysts may receive an offer and transition to a permanent role.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the following majors: Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Computer Science, Management and Risk Management or related business field with an expected graduation in December 2026– May/June 2027
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Data analytics experience in SQL, Power BI, JIRA, SharePoint, Tableau, and Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to execute with a bias for action by managing and delivering processes and projects efficiently, supporting operations and solutions delivery, and driving operational excellence through an enterprise mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams, communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats, build strong working relationships, foster an inclusive work environment, and actively seek and apply feedback to support operational goals and program success.

  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and sound judgment by applying risk management principles, identifying and managing operational risks, and adhering to policy requirements to support compliant, well-controlled operations
  • Familiarity with AI‑powered productivity tools (such as chat‑based assistants and built‑in features like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research, organizing information, and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly.
  • Successful completion of 2026 Global Operations Summer intern program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in formal early talent program and workshop initiatives.
  • Review various assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables.
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of requirements for the supported area.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Take part in a range of team projects, tasks, and activities to expose you to various Wells Fargo businesses, supporting execution of strategic priorities and reporting.
  • Work in various Microsoft products to create communication, gather data and story tell on outcomes, and organize priorities.
  • Develop partnerships, consulting, regulatory focus, risk assessment, data analytics, and other key competencies through classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Engage in experiential learning on fundamentals of financial services.
  • Contribute to process improvement, process enhancement, process mapping, automation and operational efficiency programs and projects.
  • Partner alongside various Operations teams on daily functions and responsibilities.
  • Take part in non-business-related stretch assignments, employee engagement, community service, etc.
  • Maintain contact with leaders at all levels of the organization including senior management, team members, individual contributors, and/or vendors.
  • Create presentations and visuals to assist with documenting business requirements.
  • Complete assigned projects/tasks and prepare for relevant industry certifications as part of professional development.
