About The Position

The Global Onboarding Experience Consultant contributes to the overall success of the Global Onboarding Experience team within HR Services Operations in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience resolving customer service requests
  • Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Strong understanding of bank policies and procedures
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of onboarding policies and procedures
  • Strong teamwork, relationship management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management
  • Experience in conflict and issue resolution

Responsibilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Support in the contribution of opportunities for improvement in the process and effectiveness of delivering project objectives and goals.
  • Monitors and triages tickets received via our Case Management System to their respective teams or administrators’ queue in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Recruitment COE Program Lead to maintain the integrity of the clause library, offer letter templates and Case Management Templates.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of orientation sessions and tracks feedback surveys to enhance the overall onboarding experience.
  • Drives internal auditing initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity of HR employee records such as Payroll and SAP Replicator reports.
  • Assist administrators with complex employee inquiries related to recruiting and onboarding, resolve escalations, and provide overflow support when required.
  • Train new team members on processes and procedures and improve the training experience by updating guides and job aids.
  • Seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and propose recommendations to managers.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities.
  • Ensure operations align with Scotiabank’s values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, maintaining strong compliance and risk controls.
