About The Position

The Global Mobility Specialist will manage all aspects of employment-based visa processes, coordinate domestic and international employee relocations, develop and implement global mobility policies, manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide support to relocating employees and visa holders. This role requires strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, along with core HR expertise in global mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of employment-based visa processes (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM), in partnership with external immigration counsel.
  • Track visa status, expiration dates, and compliance requirements for sponsored employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on immigration-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and internal policies.
  • Coordinate domestic and international employee relocations (~4+ annually, expected to grow).
  • Partner with relocation vendors to manage logistics (moving, temporary housing, travel, etc.).
  • Provide guidance to employees and hiring managers on relocation policies and support.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain global mobility and relocation policies.
  • Ensure consistency and fairness in mobility practices across the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Manage relationships with external partners (immigration counsel, relocation vendors).
  • Monitor service quality, costs, and contract terms.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spending and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations related to mobility.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records.
  • Partner with Legal, Payroll, and Finance to mitigate risk.
  • Provide high-touch support to relocating employees and visa holders.
  • Communicate clearly on timelines, expectations, and requirements.
  • Support onboarding and integration for internationally mobile employees.
