About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Global Marketing Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Develop, deploy, measure, and optimize global marketing programs with focused commercialization execution through channel partners, 3M sales teams, and direct to end-users to unlock growth at global scale. Collaborate and influence a cross-functional set of key stakeholders such as global and area product teams, area marketing operations teams, area sales teams, application engineers, and the Global Marketing Center (business-group level central marketing organization). Shape and evolve the value story for our products and solutions by developing and optimizing tools and learning content for our global sales team, further enabling them to sell value in a consistent, informed manner across the word. Support product teams in promoting newly commercialized products. Define program effectiveness measurement based on marketing and business objectives, sales and growth targets, tracking and communicating performance, and leveraging data to optimize programs and measure ROI with collaboration of area teams. Lead special projects or areas of focus as identified through the marketing planning process and/or throughout the year as needed. Closely support annual marketing planning & activation planning processes and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Eight (8) years of marketing experience in a business-to-business environment in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or master’s degree in marketing from an accredited institution
  • Eight (8) years of experience with B2B models and associated go-to-market models through industrial channel partners in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Ability to lead through influence within a matrix organization
