About The Position

The Global Marketing Manager develops global marketing plans that build awareness, improve lead quality, and drive revenue across Phantom and Forza Silicon. This role owns marketing-influenced pipeline performance, supports distinct technical buyer groups, and partners closely with Sales, Product Management, BU leadership, AMETEK divisional marketing, and shared technical marketing resources.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of B2B marketing experience with digital and traditional channel expertise, including proven pipeline and revenue impact.
Experience marketing technical or engineered products to B2B buyers in industrial, scientific, or defense markets.
International team leadership experience, including direct or indirect reports.
Strong understanding of SEO, AIO/GEO, SEM, social media, CMS, and CRM/reporting tools.
Experience with traditional marketing, including trade shows, events, PR, technical publications, and print collateral.
Strong analytical skills using Google Analytics or similar tools.
Excellent writing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Salesforce CRM, Pardot, marketing automation, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SEO tools.
Experience marketing technical products in semiconductor, CMOS/image sensors, photonics, high-speed imaging, optics, camera systems, or engineering/R&D environments.
Interest in Generative AI and emerging digital marketing technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop unified and brand-specific marketing strategies that support business objectives, brand visibility, and growth.
Partner with Sales, Product Management, and BU leadership to set data-driven marketing direction for products, services, and solutions.
Analyze markets, segments, competitors, and customer feedback to inform strategy, investment priorities, and product roadmap input.
Coordinate marketing inputs for the multi-year strategic plan and provide clear feedback to BU management.
Work with Product Management to develop and document compelling positioning, competitive differentiation, and battle cards for both brands' product lines.
Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches — launch sequencing, channel enablement, sales tools, and launch KPIs.
Develop application-specific campaigns targeting key use cases across end-markets; capture real-world examples and translate them into marketing assets (video, case studies, application notes, white papers).
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and technical resources to refine value proposition messaging across all channels.
Develop digital marketing, content, and demand generation strategies across SEO, SEM, AIO/GEO, social, email, web, multimedia, and paid/organic channels to build awareness, improve lead quality, and support revenue growth.
Manage websites, landing pages, eCommerce, and digital journeys to improve search visibility, engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
Create digital and technical content, including video, web copy, social posts, email campaigns, technical publications, case studies, application notes, white papers, collateral, and sales tools.
Develop audience-specific campaigns that translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for industrial, scientific, defense, OEM, semiconductor, and R&D markets.
Own digital funnel performance from awareness through qualified lead generation, opportunity creation, and marketing-influenced revenue.
Use Salesforce, Pardot, and automation to manage campaigns, lead nurturing, segmentation, reporting, and Sales & Marketing Operations improvements.
Manage China-specific digital platforms, including Baidu and WeChat, to support brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation in Greater China.
Monitor spend and KPIs, including traffic quality, conversion, cost per lead/opportunity, pipeline influence, ROI, and attribution quality.
Develop account-based marketing approaches for strategic OEM, defense, space, semiconductor, and advanced imaging accounts with technical, long-term buying cycles.
Use Generative AI tools responsibly to accelerate content development, campaign optimization, and digital workflows while ensuring technical accuracy, brand consistency, and SME review.
Own the brand architecture across the VRI portfolio — ensure clear, consistent brand identity for Phantom and Forza Silicon.
Maintain brand guidelines including visual identity, tone, and messaging frameworks appropriate to each brand's distinct audience.
Develop sales enablement tools and installed-base campaigns that support solution selling, upsell, cross-sell, service attach, renewal, and retention.
Partner with Sales and Service to identify expansion opportunities, develop customer success content, and track aftermarket KPIs including service revenue, attach rates, renewals, and customer lifetime value.
Manage the marketing budget to optimize ROI and revenue impact across digital and traditional channels; own spend allocation, reallocation decisions, and performance-to-budget reporting.
Directly manage an international team, vendors, and agency partners; coordinate with division shared resources in India for content creation, multimedia production, digital campaigns, and technical marketing support.
