About The Position

The Director of Global Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise-wide marketing strategy for Roeslein and its portfolio of industries, business units, and global operations. As the organization's senior marketing leader, this position provides strategic direction and oversight for all marketing, branding, communications, digital engagement, and market positioning efforts while leading a network of internal marketing professionals, industry-focused resources, and external agency partners. The Director of Global Marketing ensures alignment across all divisions, establishes marketing governance and performance standards, and partners with executive leadership to drive business growth, strengthen brand awareness, support customer engagement, and advance the company's long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibilities within a global, multi-business unit, or matrixed organization.
  • Proven success developing and executing strategic marketing, branding, communications, and customer engagement initiatives that support business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of brand management, corporate communications, digital marketing, content strategy, marketing analytics, and marketing technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams, managing agency relationships, and overseeing marketing budgets and investments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align marketing strategy with organizational objectives and influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing technologies, including CRM, analytics, content management, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to travel as required and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, vendors, and business partners.
  • Commitment to Roeslein's core values, safety standards, and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide marketing strategy to support business growth, market expansion, customer engagement, recruiting, and brand positioning.
  • Serve as the primary marketing advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on marketing strategy, communications, market trends, and customer engagement.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer insights, and competitive trends to support strategic planning and business development.
  • Translate corporate objectives into measurable marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Lead and protect the Roeslein brand across all business units, subsidiaries, industries, and global operations.
  • Establish and maintain brand standards, messaging frameworks, visual identity guidelines, and communication best practices.
  • Oversee corporate communications, public relations, media relations, thought leadership initiatives, and reputation management.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all internal, external, and digital communications.
  • Lead and develop a matrixed marketing organization, including internal team members, industry-focused marketing resources, and external agency partners.
  • Establish marketing policies, processes, performance standards, and governance practices across the organization.
  • Oversee annual marketing planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and marketing investments.
  • Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and sharing of best practices across business units and marketing teams.
  • Partner with company leadership to develop and implement industry-specific marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Support customer acquisition, account growth, recruiting, and business development efforts through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Provide marketing support for proposals, presentations, case studies, trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, and customer events.
  • Represent the company at industry events, professional associations, and networking opportunities as appropriate.
  • Direct digital marketing efforts, including website management, content strategy, social media, email marketing, search optimization, online advertising, and marketing automation.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting standards, and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer engagement, lead generation activities, and market data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Present marketing performance, strategic insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, media partners, and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, budgets, scopes of work, and performance expectations.
  • Evaluate vendor effectiveness and identify tools, technologies, and partnerships that enhance marketing capabilities.
