The Global Market Unit (GMU) is seeking a summer intern to support Market Making, Investment, and Asset Liability Management (ALM) activities. The internship offers exposure to day-to-day banking and market-related work, including trade processing, cash flow management, position and profit-and-loss reconciliation, and preparation of periodic and on-demand reports. The intern will support trade captures and trading activity reports and learn about risk calculations and compliance. There may be opportunities to participate in strategy meetings where investment decisions are determined. The Bank seeks an eager, self-driven individual with a strong interest in finance and markets, sound problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work with data in a fast-paced environment. The position is located in New York City and requires at least two days per week in the office. The role supports the GMU’s Market Making, Investment, and ALM teams under the oversight of a senior trading assistant.
