In this role, the Global IT Infrastructure and Security Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and security of the organization’s global IT infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems, networks, cloud platforms, and data centers while aligning IT infrastructure strategy with business objectives. Reporting to and working with the Global Director, Business Systems and IT, the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager leads infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, manages vendors and service providers, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with identity and access management, endpoint security, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
  • The capability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
  • Team-oriented leadership skills with a proactive approach.
  • An ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, backups, virtualization, cloud environments, and endpoints.
  • Ensure high system availability, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity planning.
  • Manage data centers, cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and framework.
  • Implement and manage security controls including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Lead incident response planning and coordinate remediation efforts for security incidents.
  • Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Maintain documentation of systems architecture, configurations, and security controls.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely remediation of findings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure and security professionals.
  • Define team objectives, performance metrics, and professional development plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Systems, Application Development, and other departments to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with infrastructure and security vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee SLAs to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
