About The Position
The Global Logistics Intern will assist with domestic and international daily transit reports, provide status of shipments and assist with crafting Job Aides for internal use by the department. This Internship is Hybrid in Niles, IL.
Requirements
- In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Business
- Computer Literate
- Data analytics and creating presentations.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making.
- Project Management
- Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily transit reports to identify exceptions or delays.
- Assist with tracking and tracing of freight (domestic and international).
- Communicate shipments status to departments as needed.
- Update internal department job aides and log documents.
- Work closely with the logistics team and assist scheduling domestic LTL and FTL pick-ups
- Work with the logistics team to help organize and update as needed the logistics documents housed in the shared logistics site.
