Global Installed Base Commercial Excellence Analyst

Veralto•Wood Dale, IL
•$80,000 - $90,000

About The Position

The Global Installed Base Commercial Excellence Analyst is responsible for the ongoing update, improvement, and reliability of the fundamental analytics supporting the Global Installed Base and Pricing businesses. The role ensures leaders and regional teams have clear, consistent, and actionable visibility to performance, while continuously improving the dashboards, metrics, reporting, and analytical processes used to manage the business. The analyst will combine commercial understanding, analytical problem solving, and hands-on execution to translate data into actions that protect revenue, identify growth opportunities, and improve commercial productivity. Building on this analytical foundation, a key part of the role is to explore and advance AI-enabled commercial transformation across Global Installed Base and Pricing. The successful candidate will be naturally curious and bring some practical experience with AI or digital transformation initiatives - for example identifying use cases, testing new tools, supporting pilots, improving workflows, or helping teams adopt new solutions. Deep technical or software-development expertise is not required; what matters most is curiosity, learning agility, experimentation, and the ability to connect technology with real commercial problems. The role will also apply the principles of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES), including standard work, visual management, problem solving, and continuous improvement, to turn insights into measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales, sales operations, commercial excellence, revenue operations, analytics, marketing, consulting, digital transformation, or a related commercial role. Strong recent graduates with relevant internships, project experience, or practical exposure to AI-enabled business transformation may also be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to connect data to commercial actions and business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort working with large and varied data sets.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and business intelligence tools; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, countries, and levels in a global matrix organization.
  • High level of curiosity and learning agility, with a demonstrated interest in experimenting with AI and emerging digital technologies to solve real business problems.
  • Some practical experience supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives - such as identifying use cases, testing tools, participating in pilots, improving workflows, or supporting user adoption. This experience may come from a professional role, internship, consulting project, or university project.
