About The Position

This role is a member of the global Pharma Business Development leadership team, contributing to the overall growth strategy, market expansion, and commercial excellence across the Pharma segment. The position involves managing the Key Account team to assess markets for target identification and supporting corporate development strategies. It also includes prioritizing project requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders within Pharma and delivering analytics projects to an agreed schedule. The role supports global strategic and focus accounts by managing the strategic project management team, which encompasses complex RFP/RFI response coordination, multisite project management, and coordination of account governance and business reviews. Responsibilities include attending client meetings in person to present global capabilities, participating in conferences, and delivering oral presentations. The role also involves coordination and support of account development planning processes and engagement with the global network, super user support, and deployment/adoption management of commercial systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ), with liaison with corporate IT functions as appropriate. Additionally, the position requires attending and supporting regional business development meetings, participation in global sales and marketing strategy development, supporting commercial integration of acquisitions, and supporting the implementation of sales and marketing strategies. The role also provides mentoring and opportunities management support to Business Development Managers in new markets.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in commercial operations support in Life Sciences services and solutions to global clients in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • In-depth understanding of drug commercialisation and related analytical /CMC requirements.
  • Extensive scientific expertise in Pharma/Biopharma testing.
  • Knowledge of CRM and other commercial systems.
  • Strong team leader across complex cultural organizations.
  • Highly committed to achieving timeframes previously defined and agreed with customers.
  • Highly skilled at setting up strong networking internally and also within the client’s organization.
  • Analytical, decisive, adaptable, ethical, problem solver, persuasive, commercially-sensitive.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
