About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As the Global Data Synchronization Manger you will play a key role in partnering with the 3M Master Data Management Global Governance Director, 3M Global Process Owner (GPO) for MDM, to ensure consistent execution, governance, external benchmarking, and continuous improvement of 3M’s Global Data Synchronization process, approach, and strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or engineering field (completed and verified prior to start).
Seven (7) years of operations management experience, preferably experience with GS1 organization in a private, public, government or military environment.
Three (3) years of experience working with global teams.
Three (3) years of strong understanding of process management and operational governance.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
10 years of operations management experience, preferably experience with GS1 organization.
Project management experience.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure Global management of GTIN for all 3M country memberships.
Manage a Global Council on GTIN / Data Synchronization.
Lead process for registration of all SKU’s with GS1, and other relevant bodies.
Drive Global Requirements Tracking.
Lead right sizing of 3M’s current GTIN Inventory Management.
Develop hopper for Global Data Synchronization process improvements / projects, and execute project activities to deliver targeted impact on our KPI’s.
Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
