About The Position

OneTouch Direct is a growing, privately held business process outsourcing (BPO) company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with call center operations across the US and Colombia. We’re entering an exciting growth phase, and we’re looking for a Global Controller to help build the accounting infrastructure that supports our ability to restructure and grow the business to maximize shareholder value and exit opportunities. Great customer experience begins with great agent experience — that’s why our agents and clients always come first. Our competitive spirit drives us to exceed expectations, and our enthusiasm pushes us toward continued growth: we don’t just achieve our clients’ business goals, we optimize performance with a relentless drive for results. We live our core values daily — an abundance of kindness, embracing the ambitions of others first, an unstoppable passion to be better every day, trust built through transparent and candid communication, and an enthusiastic sense of possibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience leading an accounting team — prior experience as a Controller is a plus but not required; this can be a step-up opportunity for the right candidate.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and internal controls.
  • Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the executive presence to work directly with senior leadership.
  • Must be able to work hybrid, on-site in Tampa, FL (near Tampa International Airport).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve the global month-end close process across all entities and geographies.
  • Oversee the customer invoicing process and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls.
  • Manage consolidation of financial statements across multiple legal entities and currencies.
  • Own budget vs. actual reporting and partner with department leaders on variance analysis.
  • Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and the tax team, ensuring clean, well-supported audits.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a global accounting team of 10–15 professionals.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and C-suite on ad hoc financial projects and special assignments.
  • Help drive process improvements and scalability as the company grows and matures operationally.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage.
  • 401(k) savings plan.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid company holidays.
