About The Position

OneTouch Direct is a growing, privately held business process outsourcing (BPO) company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with call center operations across the US and Colombia. We’re entering an exciting growth phase, and we’re looking for a Global Controller to help build the accounting infrastructure that supports our ability to restructure and grow the business to maximize shareholder value and exit opportunities. This is a high-visibility, hands-on leadership role for an accounting professional who wants direct exposure to the C-suite and a real seat at the table in shaping company strategy. You’ll lead a global accounting team of 10–15 people across the US, Colombia, Canada, and the Philippines, and you’ll work side-by-side with the CFO in daily meetings — not buried in a back office. This isn’t a role for someone looking to coast; it’s a roll-up-your-sleeves position for someone who wants to build, fix, and lead, and who sees a path to a future CFO seat.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
Proven experience leading an accounting team — prior experience as a Controller is a plus but not required; this can be a step-up opportunity for the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and internal controls.
Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with evolving priorities.
Strong communication skills and the executive presence to work directly with senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

CPA preferred.
Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and continuously improve the global month-end close process across all entities and geographies.
Oversee the customer invoicing process and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls.
Manage consolidation of financial statements across multiple legal entities and currencies.
Own budget vs. actual reporting and partner with department leaders on variance analysis.
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and the tax team, ensuring clean, well-supported audits.
Manage, mentor, and develop a global accounting team of 10–15 professionals.
Partner closely with the CFO and C-suite on ad hoc financial projects and special assignments.
Help drive process improvements and scalability as the company grows and matures operationally.
