About The Position

JLL is seeking a Professional Services (PS) Global Category Manager to take ownership of the sourcing and delivery of key projects within various subcategories. This individual will collaborate with JLL business leaders and the Global Head of Professional Services procurement to define strategies and achieve sourcing benefits. The role operates on a global basis, working across all regions to deliver diverse projects, adhering to JLL's standards and practices. This is a new position created due to team expansion.

At least 7-10 years of Sourcing and Procurement experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc), CIPS (Level 6 passed Exam) or exceptional career progression to date

Responsibilities

Undertake the sourcing, negotiation, and contract of JLL business requirements on a global basis (across all regions and Enterprise Service Lines) for the CRE category.
Work with JLL Business Leaders to align requirements with future strategy and deliver commercial benefits.
Forge and develop strategic supplier relationships on behalf of JLL, focusing on long-term mutual benefit, ethical objectives, and supplier innovation.
Ensure all sourcing aligns with the overall category approach and procurement best practices.
Provide expert advice and guidance to JLL Business leaders and stakeholders globally.
Recommend the qualification of appropriate service providers/supply partners, including Total Cost of Ownership models.
Act as an 'Ambassador' of best practices, technology usage (e-sourcing), innovation, and initiatives to country/regional sourcing managers and stakeholders, optimizing cost and quality of services.
Deliver financial targets in line with business expectations.
Identify new opportunity areas and collaborate with the Global Head of Professional Services Procurement to evolve expenditure.
Create strategic solutions for specific commodity/service requirements, including procurement event planning, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis, recommendations, contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation, and compliance.
Manage the category project calendar, lead category events, bid processes, commercial evaluations, recommendations, contract document preparation, functional reviews, and approvals according to JLL Delegation of Authority.
Ensure compliance with JLL procedures.
Rationalize the supply base and develop/maintain a clear strategic supply partner framework at the senior supplier level.
Utilize Supplier Relationship Management tools to manage relationships with JLL's preferred supply base.
Serve as the internal point for issue resolution.
Provide functional leadership and peer group alignment as needed.
Identify opportunities to develop and implement new policies and procedures, including rationalizing legacy policies.
Actively support the use of e-procurement strategy, methodology, and deployment.
Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for internal and external stakeholders/teams.
Apply ethical company standards and ensure Global Procurement policy is always applied.
