About The Position

This role supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values, including the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Global Account Manager will prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, gather information, and deliver submissions to underwriters. They will also handle service requests from IMA market offices, process or assign them, and request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners. The position involves verifying and reconciling premium and commission accuracy, preparing commission statements, and entering policy and account information into data systems. The role serves as a liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts, creates commission allocations for foreign revenues, and develops account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for coverages. The Global Account Manager will interact professionally with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person, and respond to internal associates in a timely, accurate, and friendly manner. They will also support the department team in completing projects and servicing accounts.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of similar or related experience
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CISR and/or CIC
  • Intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Limited travel required (less than 25%)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills

  • Under moderate guidance, prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, including gathering information and the marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
  • Under minimal guidance, intake service requests from all IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.
  • Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
  • Verify and reconcile accuracy of premium and commissions and prepare commissions statements for internal and external use as required.
  • Under minimal guidance, responsible for policy and information entry of accounts for all internal and partner data systems.
  • Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
  • Responsible for creation of commission allocations for foreign revenues.
  • Responsible for creation of account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Responds in a timely, accurate and friendly manner to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal associates.
  • Support the department team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.
