About The Position

The Global Account Manager, under moderate guidance, is responsible for preparing and marketing global new business and renewal submissions, which includes gathering information and delivering these submissions to underwriters. Under minimal guidance, they will handle service requests from all IMA market offices, processing or assigning them as needed. This role also involves requesting loss runs from carriers and international broker partners, verifying and reconciling premium and commission accuracy, and preparing commission statements. A key responsibility is the entry of policy and account information into all internal and partner data systems. The position acts as a liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts, creates commission allocations for foreign revenues, and develops account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for coverages. The role requires professional and timely interaction with clients and external partners via various communication channels and provides prompt, accurate, and friendly responses to internal teams. The Global Account Manager supports the department team by contributing to project completion and account servicing duties.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of similar or related experience
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CISR and/or CIC
  • Intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Limited travel required (less than 25%)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, including gathering information and the marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
  • Intake service requests from all IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.

  • Responsible for policy and information entry of accounts for all internal and partner data systems.
  • Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
  • Responsible for creation of commission allocations for foreign revenues.
  • Responsible for creation of account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Respond in a timely, accurate and friendly manner to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal associates.
  • Support the department team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.
