About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 5000 and Global 7500 Captain for an operation at KHIO airport. The role requires a colleague committed to excellence and to meeting clients’ travel needs safely and expertly while upholding Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and for conducting flights in accordance with company policies, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and established procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3,000 total flight hours.
• At least 1,500 PIC hours.
• At least 1,500 MEL hours.
• At least 500 MEL PIC hours.
• At least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• At least 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Global 5000 and/or Global 7500, or comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical certificate required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a four-hour drive of KHIO, or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Global 5000 and Global 7500 safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at intended airports, including alternates.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
