About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain for an operation at KFXE airport. The captain is responsible for safely operating the Global 6000 and conducting flights prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The role includes reviewing aircraft maintenance status, completing the approved pre-flight inspection, checking weather and facilities along the route and at planned and alternate airports, ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew, and accurately completing trip paperwork. The position requires on-call availability and annual ICAO international procedures training. The candidate must reside within a two-hour drive of KFXE or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours MEL.
• 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours in Turbo Jet.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rating on the Global 6000 or comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical required.
• Able to work on an on-call basis.
• Able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from KFXE or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Global 6000 aircraft.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the planned route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
