About The Position

We are looking for physically fit candidates to join our Glasshouse Worker team on a casual basis. You will be working with our tomato crop in our Tuakau glasshouse. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in tasks such as supporting crop rotation activities, which are physically demanding and involve lifting up to 25kg, picking and harvesting tomatoes, de-leafing and pruning plants, and clipping and twisting vines. This is an active role where you’ll be on your feet for most of the shift, including bending, reaching, and lifting.

Requirements

• Physically fit, able to lift up to 25kg and handle physically demanding tasks
• Reliable, hard-working and enjoy working in a team
• A positive attitude & willingness to learn new skills
• Comfortable working in warm to hot conditions and on a high trolley when required
• Available to work casual shifts during glasshouse operating hours (typically Monday to Saturday, 7:30am – 4:00pm)
• Proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand is required
• Satisfactory drug test and security check

Nice To Haves

• Prior horticulture experience would be an added advantage
