Glass Wash Technician, Lab Services
About The Position
JLL is seeking a Glass Wash Technician to perform routine Laboratory Services functions. This role involves transporting laboratory glassware, performing customized cleaning and processing of equipment, and autoclaving materials. The technician will update work documentation, ensure compliance with regulations and good documentation practices, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality. Collaboration with colleagues to achieve departmental and company goals, and accurate, timely execution of tasks are essential. The position also includes assisting in other lab services operations as needed.
Requirements
- Equivalent High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs/systems is essential.
- Must have demonstrated experience in a safe, team-based, high-performance, quality-driven environment.
- Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.
- The job involves field work requiring frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and carrying materials.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Relevant training and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform various routine Laboratory Services functions including the transporting of laboratory glassware to and from designated wash and pick up areas within the laboratories and between buildings.
- Performs customized cleaning and processing of various laboratory equipment glassware.
- Autoclaves media, water, and labware as requested.
- Updates work related documentation as needed.
- Must comply with all regulations and good documentation practices while performing services in applicable areas.
- Strict attention to safety and quality.
- Collaborative work with other employees to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Accurate and timely execution of activities and results
- Assist in other lab services operations as directed or needed.
