About The Position

This role is for a highly motivated individual who takes pride in their work, aims for timely and efficient production of quality products, and seeks to grow in knowledge and experience while contributing to the organization's success. The position involves transporting materials, primarily glass, to expedite the production process, performing quality inspections, operating and maneuvering equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. It also emphasizes adherence to safety policies and processes and understanding plant layout for proper product flow. Requirements

ABLE to read a tape measure accurately-REQUIRED
ABILITY to lift 75lbs independently, 150 in tandem.
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to communicate and work in a team setting
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (heat, cold, humidity)
Basic math and computer skills
Committed to Safety work practices

Nice To Haves

Forklift and Crane experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Glass experience, a plus

Responsibilities

Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process
Read, understand, and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
Quality inspection of glass, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
Daily inspections - safety and equipment
Follow all safety policies and processes.
Understand layout of plant to ensure proper product flow
Perform different job functions and/or assist other departments when needed
Organize and clean area
