About The Position

Ascend Staffing is recruiting hard-working, reliable individuals for a Glass Packing Company in Winlock, WA. This is an opportunity to grow and work with a great company. The position requires passing a pre-employment drug screen (zero tolerance for THC and all drugs) and a pre-employment physical, including the ability to lift/grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen for THC and all drugs.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and lift/grip up to 70 lbs. with both hands.
• Must have GED or high school Diploma
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work both days and nights

Responsibilities

• Move and lift materials safely throughout the facility
• Follow all health and safety regulations while operating equipment
• Wear required safety gear: headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate clothing
• Complete all assigned tasks quickly and safely
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
• Follow project instructions from managers or supervisors
• Adhere to all company safety rules and policies
• Monitor glass at it goes by for any defects
• Watch glass be made and ensure its being made correctly
• Use forklifts to move things around
