About The Position

This role involves operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. The position also includes moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods, monitoring output quality, administering production records, supporting quality standards and compliance, and assisting with machinery maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment
• Understanding of production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Skill in moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Capability to monitor output quality and identify faulty products
• Proficiency in administering accurate daily production records
• Knowledge of HR regulations, data protection laws, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements
• Ability to support machinery and equipment maintenance

Responsibilities

• Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/ cost/ wastage targets and quality standards
• Moving, packing and sorting of raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
• Administering accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Supporting efforts to meet quality standards and ensure compliance with HR regulations, data protection laws and health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements
• Supporting the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
