Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1–3 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with production metrics, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the production line to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Assist machine operators and production staff when necessary to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
  • Train new and existing operators on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the production team.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, productivity, on-time completion, and labor metrics.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, to ensure products meet specifications and manufacturing standards.
  • Assist leadership with operational planning, capacity planning, and achieving production objectives.
  • Maintain equipment knowledge and troubleshoot basic machine issues when needed.
  • Ensure new employees are properly trained and equipped with the resources necessary to succeed.
  • Participate in training and certification opportunities to support continued manufacturing development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
