About The Position

The Glass Associate is responsible for fabricating and producing component parts for the final assembly of windows. The role involves repetitive workstation operations in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment and may include heavy lifting and hands-on work. Duties may be performed across a variety of departments and include producing windows, doors, and glass units, supporting material handling, and using tools and equipment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position is permanent, pays $17.00 per hour, and offers weekly pay.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• Support window operations by delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Perform workstation functions using hand tools, power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure; inspect, examine, and observe products for defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
