About The Position

Provide unique and enriching glamping experiences for families through housekeeping and hospitality excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all lodgings and public areas are kept clean and according to standards
  • Deliver excellent quality linen cleaning, folding, and inventory. Using industrial laundry machines.
  • Strip, reset, and set-up glamping tents according to housekeeping standards
  • Assist with guests, check in through reservation software and prepare lodging spaces for guests
  • Clean bathroom and shower facilities according to daily and weekly checklists
  • Maintain grounds around camp to standard (pulling weeds, cleaning, sweeping, etc.)
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
