About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company that provides solutions for clients’ digital transformation needs. The Gitlab Engineer designs and implements scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services, develops automation and reusable platform components, and supports CI/CD and cloud-native workloads. The role is based onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a contract position requiring 8–10 years of experience. The expected compensation ranges from $80,000 to $158,000, with final compensation dependent on factors including location, minimum-wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off inclusive of sick leave, and other paid and unpaid leave options.

Requirements

8–10 years of experience.
Mandatory skill: GenAI Harness.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
Develop automation scripts and reusable platform components using Python.
Build Infrastructure-as-Code templates for provisioning cloud resources.
Develop deployment automation and configuration management solutions.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native applications.
Build wrapper APIs and utility services to simplify platform consumption.
Collaborate with administrators and application teams to deploy workloads into Kubernetes and EKS clusters.
Perform cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and optimization.
Implement cloud governance, security controls, and compliance standards.
Create technical documentation, automation standards, and reusable engineering patterns.
Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
