About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a GitLab Administrator to support a federal government client. This position involves establishing and maintaining GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations. The role also includes implementing role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab to ensure authorized personnel access and modify repositories, and submitting the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and capability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
  • Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
