About The Position

Join the City of Grants Pass as a GIS Supervisor to lead and manage our City-wide Geographic Information System (GIS) program within the Public Works Department. This position plays a critical role in the planning, implementation, and administration of key GIS initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Supervision of GIS Technicians Administering the city-wide GIS program, to include structure and design Managing budgets , making recommendations, approving expenditures, and preparing reports Coordinating work projects and soliciting bids from vendors This position works in the office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Question regarding this recruitment can be addressed to: [email protected] or 541.450.6050. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 4 years of related experience
• One year of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license, Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• GISCI GIS Professional Certification (GISP)
