This role supports the Department of Transportation and external clients by developing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) products across desktop, server, and online platforms, ensuring compliance with data governance and GIS standards. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and documenting spatial data from diverse sources, maintaining metadata and project records, conducting research to acquire datasets, and performing technical tasks such as data creation, distribution, web publishing, scanning, archiving, field inventory, and software/hardware maintenance to advance GIS Office initiatives. Through cooperation, coordination and collaboration among the OneFDOT team, you will be contributing to a strong and empowering culture of TRREC: Trust, Relationships, Respect, Empowerment, and Communication.
