This position works in a team environment executing necessary geospatial tasks required to build data products that are both high accuracy and high quality. Successful analysts contribute to the implementation and maintenance of data, services and applications mainly focusing on the development and distribution of vector datasets, aerial imagery, LiDAR, and other geospatial data products. Requirements

  • 1+ years of technical experience in GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, remote sensing and/or surveying.
  • Advanced experience with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro and enterprise or web‑based GIS environments.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating LiDAR and remote sensing datasets into GIS workflows.
  • Experience working with geodatabases, spatial data standards, and metadata (FGDC/ISO).
  • Proficiency with geospatial automation tools such as Python (ArcPy), ModelBuilder, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong written and oral communication skills; and a supportive, team‑oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with geospatial production tools (e.g., GeoCue, TerraScan, LP360, LAStools) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform geospatial workflow processes, including digitizing vector features, LiDAR classification and feature extraction, and assisting with metadata and project reporting
  • Assist in producing accurate and high‑quality spatial data products by processing vector, raster and point‑cloud datasets and executing QA/QC to meet project specifications
  • Support geospatial standards and product generation by providing technical assistance on coordinate systems, projections, and data management practices
  • Work collaboratively with GIS, CAD and remote‑sensing professionals, contributing to a team‑oriented environment and adhering to quality and information security policies
  • Participate in project planning, technical estimating, and coordination with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and information security policies.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative geospatial team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
